Kitchen Renovation – Full Refurbishment (Ongoing Project)

This domestic property has undergone a full kitchen refurbishment, transforming the space into a modern,
open-plan kitchen designed to improve both functionality and flow.
The project involved structural alterations to open up the existing layout, including the installation of RSJs,
creating a larger and more practical living space. All electrical cabling was fully chased into the walls,
ensuring a clean, contemporary finish with no surface-mounted services.
Walls were bonded out, battened where required, and fully re-boarded. During the works, previously hidden
pipework was identified and professionally resolved as part of the refurbishment.
The kitchen installation itself was completed to a bespoke finish, with all units and worktops carefully scribed
into the walls to achieve a seamless, high-end look with no visible gaps.
The worktop installed is a Minerva seamless worktop, featuring near-invisible joints for a clean, continuous
finish. This was a new experience for us, but one we thoroughly enjoyed. The installation process was both
rewarding and eye-opening, and it’s a style of worktop we’re excited to install more of in future as it becomes
increasingly popular and newly available on the market.
The kitchen is now fully fitted, including:
• Bespoke fitted kitchen units
• Minerva seamless worktop with joint-free finish
• New sink and plumbing connections
• New radiators
The remaining works include splashback wall tiling and floor tiling, which the client has chosen to complete themselves.
